Thirteenth parable of Jesus Christ, message based on Luke 11:5 to 8 with the title “Complement of prayer – Persistence”.
In Luke 11:5 to 8, Jesus teaches his followers how to pray. It tells the story of a man who goes to his friend at midnight to ask for bread, but his friend refuses to help him because he is already asleep. However, the man persists and his insistence finally convinces his friend to give him the bread. Jesus says that just as the persistent man got the bread, we too must be persistent in our prayers and not give up, for God is a loving Father who will answer our requests.
In short, in Luke 11:5 to 8, Jesus teaches that we must pray with persistence and confidence, as God is a loving Father and will respond to our requests.
